OUR PET AND SHOW CONTRACTS
Many people ask " What is the difference between a PET and SHOW puppy", this could be that the markings are not just right to go into a show ring, or that a small part of that puppies body structure just does not fit with what we are looking for to be a "show dog". The pet and show puppies all have the same loving outgoing temperament that makes this breed so wonderful.
We hope all our babies will be their families pets, be them PET or SHOW.When someone enters into a agreement with us to buy a puppy we ask at least a $200.00 deposit to hold any pup.
This is a nonrefundable deposit, unless we do not have or cannot fine you a puppy. If we cannot fill our promise to sell you a puppy, then we well send back your deposit, or if you wish hold it until another litter. This is the only reason we refund a deposit.
Pet contract
ARCADIA KENNELS
1. This dog is of Pet quality and is a purebred dog and can be restored with the AKC
within 180 days, following the date of purchase. A limited registration slip well be
given to the buyer. Limited Registration means any offspring of this dog well not
be eligible for registration, and entry in conformation events are restricted, this dog
may be shown in obedience and herding and agility. If registration papers are still in
transit then they well be sent to the buyer as soon as seller receives them.
2. This dog will carry a four day returnable stipulation;
meaning the the buyer has the right to return this dog to the seller( for any reason other
than negligence on buyers part) and can expect a full refund. Any air freight on dogs
bought or returned is that of buyer. Buyer shall assume full responsibility for health,
anatomical make-up, appearance and temperament of the above decried dog following
said 48 hour period.
3. In the event any crippling, or congenital faults ( to the point this dog must be destroyed)
are found to be present in the above-described dog, on or before one year of age, the
seller agrees to replace said dog with one of equal quality.4. Buyer agrees to spay or neuter this dog.
5. ` Buyer agrees never to sell this dog to a pet shop, pet farm or other similar institution.
6. The buyer agrees to use the name the seller has given this dog.
7. All deposits are nonrefundable, unless the seller does not have a puppy for the buyer.
SHOW CONTRACT
ARCADIA KENNELS
1. This dog is guaranteed to be of show quality, if at any time up to 12 months of age this
dog is proven to be of pet quality, a replacement show puppy will be given to
the buyer, provided that this dog has never produced a litter, or has not been
damaged in any way due to buy's negligence. Buyers only expense will be in
shipping. If this dog is proven to be of pet quality the AKC papers will be
signed & returned to the seller. The seller has the option at this time to have the dog
returned to seller, or if the seller wishes, the buyer may keep the dog or dispose of it as
they wish, after proof of neuter or spay is sent to the seller.
2. This dog is guaranteed to be of good temperament, to be fertile, to be free from
heredity defects affecting it's suitability for breeding, and to be free from any serious
faults except those due to injury or neglect after sale. If this dog has produced a litter
this voids this contract.3. The buyer guarantees to the seller that this dog will be conditioned, maintained and
shown to it's championship.
4. If at any time buyer wishes to sell this dog, seller has first choice to repurchase this
dog at a fair price, on co-ownership the price will be the same as the original purchase
price.5. Buyer agrees never to sell or place this dog in any pet shop, pet farm or similar
institution. The same is to be held true of any of this dogs get.6. Ownership will be transferred when dog is paid for in full, unless otherwise stated here.
7. The buyer agrees to use the name the seller has given this dog.
8. All deposits are nonrefundable, unless the seller does not have a puppy for the buyer.
