LINE
BRUSHING THE BODY
While
holding back hair, line brush hair down with the grain of the hair. Never back bush
the body coat. The only part of the coat you back brush is on the legs and feet. If you
back brush the body coat it will break the hair.

Brush top of head. Brush under chin.

Brush side of face. Comb good behind ears.

Pluck hair out of ears. You may use a little powder to make it come out easier.

Cut toe nails. Be sure not to cut into the quick. The quick is very pink.

Bath your dog in any good dog shampoo. Make sure you put cotton balls in the ears to keep water out.
You only need to bath your dog when it is dirty. It is not good to bath a dog too often, as it will strip
out the natural oil from the skin.
Make sure you rinse all the soap out.
.

We use a low heat dryer to dry the dog. A hot dryer can burn a coat.
Bush the coat as it dries. Never brush a real wet coat. Wait until
it is damp. You may towel dry first.

This is our dog after grooming.
